Gather & Grow

a Past yoga retreat // august 26 - 28th

Escape the city for a sunny weekend in the Dungeness Valley. We’ll fill our time with yoga, healthy food, and enough down time for self-reflection. This is a casual, no-nonsense weekend to reconnect with yourself and find intentional connections with community.

the location

Dungeness Valley, WA.

Dungeness Valley is home to the most sun on The Olympic Peninsula. The Olympic Mountains shelter our destination in its own micro-climate, which lends to predictably sunny weather even when it’s rainy in other areas on The Peninsula.

There are several hikes, hidden beaches, and cozy coffee shops close-by, so you’ll have lots of options with how to spend your down-time.

the trip

food

Meals will be home-made and family style. We’ll have communal meals for breakfast and dinner each day. There are many places and stores in town available for lunch, so you’ll be free to be on your own schedule as you choose to explore the surrounding activities.

yoga

We’ll start and end our days together by diving into our practice.

Our morning practice will be intentional, fiery, and the perfect way to wake up each day.

Evening yoga will be a slow and intuitive flow, with lots of time for deep stretching to wind down our days together.

community

We’ll stay in a beautiful home together hidden in the quiet countryside in Dungeness Valley. There are room options to fit your style and budget whether you’re coming with friends or traveling solo.

Our openings are limited for this trip to keep things intimate, intentional, and meaningful. Whether you’re in a shared room or a private ensuite, you’ll have plenty of time to make new connections with our yoga family for the weekend.

surfing

There are a handful of beaches close-by with great conditions for beginner surfers. A lot of these spots are protected and hidden beaches, so I can recommend those spots via email or in person chat.

Surf lessons are available to those who are interested in extending their trip through Sunday early evening, with an extra fee. After checking out of our home we will caravan to pick up our boards and wetsuits, and then off to the beach! We’ll have a safety talk and surf lesson on the beach, and spend about an hour and a half in the water trying out our new skills.

surrounding activities

The Olympic Peninsula is full of outdoor activities. There are several hikes, sites to see, and beaches to visit close-by our home for the weekend. I have a few recommendations listed below.

hiking:

Dungeness Sand Spit

beaches:

Crescent Beach

sites:

Graymarsh Farm (pick your own berries)

Lots of small wineries
